Now in our second year of attendance, the Austins Wines Bar was a great
hit at the recent Falls Festival (a 3-day New Year Music Festival held
at Lorne, Victoria). An inspiring mixture of sunshine and rain kept the
days (and nights) interesting with customers sun-dancing in front of
the tent or sheltering inside from the cold. Our rotating staff of four
meant we could each catch the odd band or two.
“The Hives” were the
absolute standout of the three days. As the nights went into darkness,
Maxy cooked us his famous paella for warmth and stamina and punters
kept coming in for more. We loved being involved with this incredible
event. I urge anyone who has never experienced “The Falls” to mark it
down as a must-do - a superb mix of music, people and activities.
