Austin's Barrabool Shiraz is often a real surprise to many lovers of Shiraz. In comparison to its formidably rich counterparts, the intention of this wine is to tone down the ferocity of fruit flavour and deliver a more graceful and spicy Shiraz with wonderful brightness and vitality. Displays excellent intensity, fresh cedar, pine needles, liquorice, black olives and vanilla. Generous medium to full bodied wine. Mulberry fruits, along with spice and ground white pepper. Hints of cedar and vanilla.
